Name Background
Jools Anderson
Scheme Manager
 Jools has experience of working with families in the community from being involved with Basingstoke Children’s Centre since 2010. Jools was a Children’s Centre service user when she first relocated to the Basingstoke area with her young daughter, then she became a volunteer Partnership Board member and then an employee. Jools had been working as a Senior Family Support Outreach Worker prior to coming to Home-Start.Jools now has two primary aged daughters and volunteers at their school on the Governing body.  Jools is currently Vice Chair which she finds a rewarding volunteer role.

Jools is excited to work as part of the Home-Start team and is looking forward to getting to know the volunteers and families.

  Fran Huntley      Co-ordinator     (Mental Health             Project)

 

 

 Fran has been supporting families since 2007. She started within Children’s Centre in Somerset then Surrey as a Family Support Worker. In 2012 she became a Senior Family Support Worker for Children’s Service. Within these roles she took an interest in supporting families where  Parental Mental Health was a factor. She very much looking forward to developing the New Mental Health Project.
Julia Slowey
BHBF Co-ordinator/Group Worker
Julia is a mother of two grown up daughters and, once they had both started school, trained as a primary school teacher. After working for 10 years at a local junior school, she completed the volunteer training at HomeStart and within a couple of months joined the HomeStart team as Group and School Readiness Coordinator.
Katy Carter
MBG leader/Group Worker
 Katy has been working for Home-start NWH since April 2016 supporting within the Multiple Birth Group.  However, she was one of the first parents to benefit from the Multiple Birth Group back in 2008 with her 3 months old twin boys and 1 year old son.  She has a background in childcare working as a nanny for 15 years and as a Nursery practitioner.
Anna-Maria Chiappetta
Scheme Administrator
Anna started with Home-Start in September 2015 as the Scheme Administrator. Having worked within PACEY for 9 years – a charity that supports child-minders within Hampshire.   Anna is excited to be given the opportunity of continuing to work within a charity that supports children
Mary Hull          Group Assistant

 

Mary became a Volunteer in 2015 after retiring from Midwifery as she found she missed  working directly with families and Home-Start offered her the opportunity to continue.    Mary has always been keen to offer her support as a volunteer within the groups and also  in the office.   She is excited to be  supporting within both the Well-being and Multiple Birth Groups.

Patron
 Dr. Darmady became our Patron in 2007.
Janette Hewitt
Chair
Janette has spent over 30 years in the IT and telecoms industries, mainly in the area of marketing and technical support, where she has held various senior management positions. She is a Parish Councillor in Baughurst, Secretary of the Heath End Village Hall Committee and a volunteer adviser at Tadley Citizen’s Advice Bureau. She has been a Home-Start volunteer since completing her training in January 2006.

 Jeffrey Northam   Company Secretary Now retired Jeffrey’s career was in the London Insurance and Reinsurance markets. He was a Broker then Underwriter in Lloyds of London. Using his experience, he founded and developed a skills training company that provided face-to-face and e-learning courses in London and the USA.

Jeffrey is a trustee of Dummer Village Hall, treasurer of Natural Basingstoke and volunteer with Hampshire Wildlife Trust.

Steve Bushell

Steve works as a  home-visiting Volunteer as well as a Trustee within HSNWH.
Jo Attridge
Trustee
Jo has spent her working life in Health Service and Education administration. During that time she managed departments at Basingstoke College, Cranbourne Business and Enterprise College. Jo was a secondary school governor for eight years, chairing one of the major committees.  Jo has many years experience of fund-raising, and is also a Home-start volunteer, mother and has two grandchildren.  Her main role as a Trustee is leading Quality Assurance.
Liz Narracott
Trustee
Liz is a registered nurse and midwife. She has worked with children and their parents/carers of all ages for 18 years within the child health directorate of Basingstoke Hospital and headed up the School Nurse Service for 6 years until retirement in 2003. Liz joined Home-Start 2 years ago as a volunteer and soon after became a Trustee. She is the Safeguarding Children lead for the Scheme. Liz has also served as a school governor of a local infant school and has 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
 Karin Jardine- Brown
Trustee
 Karin has a wealth of experience in working with families and young people.
Ian Nicholson
Trustee
Ian and his wife moved to Bramley from Maidstone in 2003. After 30 years personnel experience in a paper mill and an agri-food business, he held positions in the charity sector. He ran the unique Maidstone Community Support Centre (a base for 30 charities including Home-Start) and, finally, he was the Dysphasia Support Organiser for The Stroke Association in Basingstoke and Alton. Now retired, Ian is Secretary of the Basingstoke Male Voice Choir.
 Maggie Bates
Trustee
 Maggie was a member of the Steering Committee which established Home-Start Clere, and was Chair of the Scheme until December 2015.  She is a retired Teacher /Community manager working in West Berkshire and Hampshire. Married with three children, Maggie has lived and worked in the Newbury area for over 40 years.
Natalie Fletcher Trustee

 

Natalie has over 25 years HR management experience gained in Medical
Devices & Diagnostics, Lifesciences and Health Care Analytics sectors.
She is currently employed as an International Human Resources Director’.
Mark Flower  Trustee

 

 Mark is a professional property consultant and property developer/investor and has worked in the Basingstoke Business Community for over 30 years.He has actively been involved in many local charities and is a member of Basingstoke Rotary Club

Mark has recently  trained as a Home Start voluntee
